Following the success of ConSocSci24, we are thrilled to announce that SSWG is hosting our second online Conservation Social Science Conference.

Conference Theme:  “Sustaining Hope for Impact: Social Science for a Just & Resilient Conservation Future”

Conservation challenges are shaped by social dynamics, governance systems, and human decision-making. Social science plays a critical role in understanding these processes and informing conservation approaches that are more equitable and effective. This conference brings together research and practical experiences that highlight how social science contributes to conservation policy and practice, supporting sustainable and just outcomes for both people and nature.
